Pitching a Turn-key Start-up

Two gents with a love of fly-fishing asked us to engineer a 'stealthy strike indicator for nymphing'. They had discovered a simple niche to build a brand upon. After an Innovation Workshop to understand strategic goals, we proposed crafting an entire design vision simultaneously. This was a trial for an unconventional design process with all design iteration conducted in secrecy. A single complete vision of a start-up was pitched to the client. This shifted their role and viewpoint from collaborator to investor. It was a rigorous test of our design research, testing, and intuition which allowed free exploration without a finite list of deliverables. We crafted everything from a trademarked brand to the engineering of the product that launched it all. Now they are real. #Scout'emOut
